    Dark HTML CSS Template Preview

    Time is to release our ‘Friday Freebie’ and we have HTML CSS Template for this week. I made this template for my college work, its about 6 months ago. I think, this template may be helpful to you, so here I come to give on today’s Friday Freebie.

    HTML Demo.

    Template contains a lot HTML pages, in which you might find some similar pages to each other also. This template usage <table> mark up and normal JavaScript functions.

    Why <TABLE>s?

    If you’re questioning me ‘Why <table>’s, my answer will be:
    My college’s guidelines to develop a site:

    1. Do not use DOCTYPE
    2. Use Plain HTML, less DIV elements as much as possible
    3. Use custom JavaScript functions, instead of plugins and libraries.

  • Black and Red Application Icon Set

    “Aren’t there thousands of icons (definitely free) already for us?” You might be thinking the same. I also did the same, but when it comes to look for your theme matching icons, you need to swim the google like a hell.

    Last time I had to work in black and red theme for a sport based website and I found myself suffering to find that kind of icons.

    This is the reason behind todays freebies. I created some basic application icons in Black and Red theme. As always you’re free like a bird, use it wherever, whenever, however you want. Sell, package, re-distribute, re-post with back link do what ever you like.

    Statement above is taken from hacks.mozilla.org,  first paragraph of about the new Firefox. Since Firefox 5 wasn’t that old, new release of Firefox is supposed to be more productive and useful for Web Developers, yes, as you can guess from the quote above. This time Firefox release is for Web Developers.

    Even more faster than Firefox 5

    Last release of Firefox (Firefox 5) brought the most valuable changes in Firefox. Major and most loved thing was it is much faster. Current release of  Firefox 6 is again going little faster than Firefox 5.

    Enhanced support for HTML5, CSS3 and DOM

    Good news for Web Designers/Developers. Firefox now supports more HTML5, CSS3 and upgraded DOM manipulations. Check out the Hacks.Mozilla.org ‘s press release page here for in-depth  details.

    Scratchpad – New tool for JavaScript Developers

    Again, if you are a developer, from now on you will not ne relaying on Firebug’s Console for JavaScript debugging. Firefox has implemented new feature for debugging JavaScript, though it is much similar with Firebug’s Console. Scratchpad does not requires any add ons.

    Domain Highlighter

    Have you noticed the domain highlighter in Internet Explorer 9, It highlights the main domain and fade outs the page URL. Now you can experience the same feature on Firefox 6 also.

    Control permission

    Almost each browser allows users to control page securities like Cookies, Password remembering, disabling JavaScript, Popup blocking on page by page basis or on a overall basis. But you may want to do something more restriction on the pages like e-commerce application, business application and loose restriction for Facebook, twitter etc.

    New Firefox allows you do the same. Its new Data Management Window will let you do you choices on site basis.

    Go for it, but…

    You ll obviously likely to upgrading to new Firefox 6, but before doing that consider following things:

    • Check you required add on whether they are compatible with new Firefox 6 or not?
    • Do you really need to upgrade just because it is a little faster than Firefox 5, (which isn’t that slow)?
    • Do the new features really benefits you more?

    Modal window, as we all application developer are nowadays using modal window rather the default alert type browser window. It helps us to keep our interface consitence over entire application along with ability to use any kinds of contents inside it.

    So, here is a pixel perfect, clean modal window psd. Freebie for today. ZIP contains layered psd.

  • Free HTML5 CSS3 Login Form


    Last week we have give a Login Form, layered psd. This time we are giving our readers a coded Simple Login Form. Coded in HTML5 and CSS3, which gracefully degrades in olders browsers. Intially this Elegant login form was created by Orman of Premium Pixel back in October 2010. I have co-ordinated with Orman about giving his artwork in form of a HTML/CSS Template. He have agreed.     Letting users easily go through your application needs a login panel, which have to be very easy, clean. Todays PSD freebies is to achieve the same result.
